All classes are taught at Carleton University, but you needn't be a student to register. Registration is handled through Carleton U's portal.

Intro to Kickboxing

Combine Kung Fu, Muay Thai and Tae Kwon Do techniques and reap the benefits of an excellent cardio workout with self-defense techniques using the legs, knees, elbows, boxing, sweeps and throws. Increase your aerobic capacity and improve strength, agility and speed while developing an impenetrable defense and a devastating offense in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
NB - Beginner and Intermediate classes are combined for the Spring/Summer Terms
Intermediate Kickboxing

Level up your inner warrior as you add skills to your personal fight arsenal. This class builds on the foundation of Dynamic Kickboxing and introduces new, vital techniques and skills as you learn to apply what you know in the ring/octagon. Gloves required. Mouth guard recommended. You must have completed one term of Dynamic Kickboxing (Women’s Only) to register.

Kung Fu

Let’s get down to business, based in traditional kung fu, this women’s martial art class will teach you how to defend yourself, others, or the whole of China. Improve your strength and stamina while learning how to effectively strike, block and throw your enemies empty-handed and with weapons. That’s right, you get to learn sword (and staff) fighting. So if your goal is to defeat the Huns or simply to get fit and have fun, this is the marital arts class for you.
As we do train weapons, a dowel or wooden practice sword will be required.
